Supportive Inpatient Care During Clinic Hours
Some pets need more than a consultation: fluids, injectable medication, repeated assessment or a quiet place to be observed while treatment takes effect. Hospitalisation gives us that time, in a ward kept separate from the busier parts of the clinic.

Monitoring is provided according to your pet's condition and during the clinic's operating coverage. Where a patient needs continuous overnight supervision, mechanical ventilation, blood transfusion or intensive care equipment, we will explain that clearly and coordinate referral to a facility equipped for it. Referral is part of looking after your pet properly, not a gap in their care.
Hospitalisation may be advised for pets experiencing:
The level of care required depends on your pet’s condition. Some critically ill patients may need stabilisation followed by transfer to a specialist or 24-hour emergency hospital.
Depending on your pet’s needs, their care plan may include:
Not every patient requires every form of support. The veterinarian will select treatments and monitoring based on your pet’s condition and response.
We understand that leaving your pet at the clinic can be worrying. Our approach combines attentive medical care with clear communication, gentle handling, and respect for your pet’s comfort.
Following admission, our team creates an individual treatment and monitoring plan. Your pet is reassessed regularly, and treatment may be adjusted according to their symptoms, examination findings, laboratory results, fluid balance, appetite, pain level, and overall progress.
We also recognise the limits of the care that can be provided within any individual facility. If your pet requires continuous overnight supervision, mechanical ventilation, blood transfusion, advanced intensive care, or another service beyond the clinic’s capabilities, we will discuss stabilisation and referral to an appropriate emergency or specialist hospital. Advanced emergency and critical care facilities may provide intensive monitoring and specialised life-support services for unstable patients.
When your pet is admitted, you can expect:
Your pet’s length of stay will depend on their diagnosis, stability, response to treatment, and ability to continue recovering safely at home.

+971 56 227 8484Hospitalisation may be recommended when your pet needs intravenous treatment, injectable medication, oxygen support, pain management, diagnostic monitoring, or observation that cannot be provided safely at home.
The veterinarian will explain the reason for admission and the goals of treatment.
Not always.
Hospitalisation can range from routine observation and treatment to higher-dependency supportive care. Intensive care is generally required for severely unstable patients who need continuous monitoring, specialised equipment, or advanced life-support procedures.
Our team will explain the level of care your pet needs and whether referral to a dedicated critical care facility is recommended.
Monitoring arrangements depend on the clinic’s operating hours, staffing, and your pet’s condition.
Before admission, our team will clearly explain the level and hours of supervision available. Pets requiring uninterrupted overnight monitoring may need referral or transfer to a 24-hour emergency hospital.
Some pets may require only several hours of observation, while others may need one or more days of treatment.
The length of stay depends on the diagnosis, severity of the condition, response to treatment, test results, appetite, hydration, mobility, and overall stability.
Visits may be possible depending on your pet’s condition, the hospitalisation area, infection-control requirements, and whether a visit could cause stress or interfere with treatment.
Please speak with our team before visiting so we can recommend what is best for your pet.
Yes. Our team will provide updates according to the communication arrangements explained during admission.
We will also try to contact you before major changes to the diagnostic or treatment plan, unless urgent action is needed to protect your pet’s health or life.
